Paper Cutting

I absolutely adore paper cutting and you just have admire their patience and dedication to each individual design.  One slip and they don't simply stick it together again the cut out the whole design again.
it reminds of those little cut out paper lampshades that used to spin round and allow the designs to shine through onto the walls.


Betrice Coron is a french illustrator who has been using this method for years and has been recognised since 1994 for her beautifully hand cut paper craft. I just can't understand how she has the time and patience to create these fantastic intricate designs on these absolutely massive scales.

 How beautiful is this cape, its ethereal and fairy tale like quality would make it perfect for film or photograph shoots.
