These sculptures by Natsumi Honda made out of intricate watch parts embody the time old tale of the tortoise and the hare, it cleverly plays on the race with the faces of time creating the characters we have all heard of before. It is not with haste and overconfidence that wins the race but a steady humble approach. The article on these sculptures written by Ana Lisa Aplerovich says 'the works are the product of hundreds of hours where the artist painstakingly glued thousands of tiny pieces together'

it suggests on a subconscious level that as a  this is something every designer and artist should be aware of when doing their work and is definitely something I'm learning about print.
